This is the most famous of all Hollywood theaters. Although you must pay for movie tickets to see the spectacular interior, the handprints, footprints and signatures of over 160 Hollywood celebrities are preserved in the cement floor of the theater's courtyard - if you like feeling inferior you could compare your hand size to Arnold Schwarzenegger's, or compare your nose to Jimmy Durante's! LACMA, LA's largest and arguably its finest museum, contains a treasure trove of art from all periods and cultures around the world--you will see some of the greatest works of art from Ancient Babylon to modern Navajo and from the Italian Renaissance to Postmodernism. Permanent and changing exhibits include 200 classic cars, racing autos and dream cars as well as cars made famous in films, old and new. Rotating exhibits show celebrities and the cars they drove, provide much interesting information about the origins of our LA freeway systems and car insurance systems.

The Hollywood Bowl summer and fall season annually features some of the greatest musicians in the world performing some of the greatest music in the world. Treat yourself to a live Beethoven symphony while you picnic in a T-shirt and jeans!
